Welcome to 5/6 Art & Design

Hello students and parents!

In grade 5/6, we will be exploring how and why artists and designers plan and make art in a range of artforms and come up with ideas.

We will look at the work of artists and designers and discuss/explore the wide range of ideas, concepts and viewpoints.

We will use artists (historical and contemporary, and from other cultures) to inspire our own art making.

We will build upon our knowledge of how to work safely in the art and design classroom, and make good choices for the environment/sustinability in our art making.
